Lynn Smith

Corporate Secretary

With over 20 years of industry experience in financial services, my roles have spanned compliance, practice management, operations and MiQ’s CFO for 13 years. With a desire for a better work/life balance in 2022 I retired as CFO and now work part time as MiQ’s Governance and Project Manager. As Company Secretary, I not only support the Board and its functioning, but seek to develop and expand our corporate governance framework. Along with being a Responsible Manager (one of four) I also assist the business with adhoc projects.

I have a Bachelor of Financial Administration (Commerce); Post-Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and am currently undertaking a further Post Graduate Diploma with the Governance Institute.

I am a director of two not for profit companies and amongst other things, enjoy organic vegetable gardening, reading, visiting my grandson and if you want to know about bicycle and barge holidays – I’m your person!
