Partner & Financial Planner David Noyes joined MiQ in 2008. With over 43 years of experience in the finance industry, David has spent 23 years in Banking Finance, including Residential and Commercial Lending and Branch Management, prior to becoming a Financial Planner 20 years ago.
David has an existing relationship with a portfolio of existing Financial Planning Clients, which he manages on an ongoing basis, providing an ongoing service relationship over many years, and assisting these clients to ensure they stay on track, and meet their financial and personal goals over time.
He enjoys meeting with new clients looking for assistance with their financial needs, developing strategies for them to achieve their goals, then establishing and developing an ongoing relationship with these clients, and being part of their financial Journey.
Additionally, David is currently the chairman of our investment committee and this role involves him working with external investment professionals in helping to set the strategy and solutions that our clients use.
He prides himself on client service, taking the time to listen and understand his clients’ needs and concerns, which assists them in jointly developing appropriate strategies.
David’s key financial advice is that “it’s never too early or too late to consider planning for your financial future. The worst thing you can do is ignore it, and do nothing”.
Over weekends, he enjoys 4WDriving, fishing swimming and relaxing by the beach. A typical long weekend for David would be heading to Tewantin and across to the North Shore on the Ferry. Then taking the leisurely and relaxing drive up the beach to Double Island point, for some swimming/surfing/fishing and relaxing.
