Financial Adviser Mel Chamberlain joined MiQ in 2011. With over 30 years of industry experience, Mel’s roles have included bank roles, including Personal Lending officer and financial planning roles of Client Services Manager, Risk Adviser and Wealth Manager – Financial Planning.
Mel’s daily tasks include providing advice to clients to ensure they can live the life they want. Mel works with clients to set, refresh, work towards and eventually reach their goals. This includes ensuring underlying assets are monitored to guarantee they remain relevant.
Being available to clients when they have concerns, help and advice is also a big priority for Mel, as well as working with Centrelink and Aged Care facilities to assist clients and their families obtain the support they need and provide information they can understand.
Mel’s free time is often spent outdoors, exploring new forests and trails. Mel has also completed many triathlons of all distances (including having represented Australia at the world championships), ran a couple of marathons and over the past few years has conquered several ultramarathons.
